If you time your visit just right, you might find yourself in the middle of one of the many festivals or activities, including the Hanson Villiage Arts Festival, the Antique Tractor and Mule Days Festival, Dawson Springs Bar-B-Que Fest, Morton's Gap Coalfield Festival, Friday Night Live in downtown Madisonville or Return to Bethlehem, a Christmas season pageant. Other popular attractions include the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts with such entertainment as Marie Osmond or Garrison Keillor, the Anne P. Baker Gallery, Western Kentucky Speedway, and the log cabin of former Governor Ruby Laffoon.
