Stone Mountain Memorial Association, a State authority that is self-supporting and receives no tax dollars, is responsible for Georgia's Stone Mountain Park. SMMA's mission is to preserve, protect and enhance this wonderful 3,200 acre natural resource for the people of Georgia and for our visitors from around the world. The Confederate Hall Historical and Environmental Education Center is now open! Confederate Hall is located at the bottom of the Stone Mountain Walk-up Trail and is open to all park guests free of charge.
