Amtrak Station Atlanta Amtrak Station

Brookwood Station, the Atlanta Amtrak Station, was built and designed in 1918 by Neel Reid. In 1996, a half-million-dollar renovation was approved in preparation for the 1996 Olympics. The new renovations provided the historic Amtrak Station with classic wooden benches, marble floors, vaulted ceiling, globe lights and a better air conditioning system. Right above the stairs onto the train platform, a grand view of Atlantas downtown skyline is provided through a windowed waiting area. Other new renovations included a new elevator and ramps for the disable to easily access Atlanta Amtrak.

The Brookwood Amtrak Station is your Atlanta connection to and from New Orleans and New York. All routes in and out of Atlanta Amtrak Station are twice a day, seven days a week.

Atlanta Amtrak Operation Hours
The operation for the Atlanta Amtrak Station, ticketing and checked baggage is opened seven days a week from 7:30 A.M. until 10:00 P.M.
